Brothers

It was a foggy, misty day at the ocean's shore.

Little Girl, Big Ocean

I wonder what she thinks of that wide expanse of blue motion?  Oh, I need to straighten this photo when I find it again.  I'm getting seasick.  :)

Girl with Key

Painting a portrait in oil is so superior to acrylic.  I love the way oil paints glide on the canvas and blend.  The long drying time is a downside but it is worth it.

Spilled the Buttons

This abstract seemed to get happier as I painted.  At least, that is how the colors made me feel.  I added iridescent medium in diagonal brush strokes and scattered buttons to give more dimension and direction to the artwork. The yellow flower with rhinestones was an heirloom 1950's earring.  I donated this piece to a charity auction.

Oregon Coast

The Oregon Coast is a beautiful, moody place.  I tried to capture one of its moods.

Urban Crystals

Sometimes when I play with Photoshop Elements, I come up with graphics that appeal to me.  This started out as a photo of a basket of apples.  Now it reminds me of an aerial view of crystal urban buildings.   Have you seen any crystal-like buildings in real life? .
