Path to String Lake

String Lake in Grand Teton National Park is north of Jackson, Wyoming.  This is one of my favorite places.  Our family made great memories hiking trails in that area and canoeing in String and Leigh Lakes.  I gave this painting to my Oregon son for his birthday.  I hope the artwork reminds him of our family times and my love for him.

The roughness and structure repetition of buck and pole fences visually appeal to me.  I love to spend my summers in this valley by the Teton Mountains.  

Chapel at the Grand Wailea Resort

My family flew to Maui for my younger son's wedding.  The chapel is near the ocean.  Bright, Hawaiian inspired stained glass is on each side of the chapel.

The grounds of Grand Wailea Resort has many pools, sculptures and fountains.  This one leads right to the ocean.  It truly is a paradise.
