Spilled the Buttons
This abstract seemed to get happier as I painted. At least, that is how the colors made me feel. I added iridescent medium in diagonal brush strokes and scattered buttons to give more dimension and direction to the artwork. The yellow flower with rhinestones was an heirloom 1950's earring. I donated this piece to a charity auction.
